Re:maze Chat integration with Layerise Product Assistant

You can enable Remaze chat in your Layerise product assistants by following this guide. You need your Remaze admin account to follow the below steps:

  1. Log in to your Remaze portal with admin credentials and go to settings

  1. Click on the chat widget from the menu on the left side

  1. Click on New Chat Widget

  1. Configure your chat widget (if already not configured) and go to Manual Publishing

  1. Copy the Code in a file and keep it handy for the next steps

Enable Authentication

If you wish Layerise to pass customer ID, Name, Email, and Phone Number to Reamaze when a customer initiates a chat, enable authentication with steps 6 & 7 :

  1. Go To Settings and Click on Account IDs and Secret at the bottom of the menu
  2. Copy the secret SSO Key and Brand ID and save it for the next steps

  1. Go To Layerise portal and click on Apps from the menu

  1. Click on Reamaze chat and click on the install button

  1. Enter Code copied on step 4 in Insert chat widget script, SSO Key, and Brand ID (from steps 6 & 7) and click on install app

  1. Go to Settings -> Settings

  1. Click on chat, choose the Reamaze chat from the list, and click on save changes

  1. Once Done, Click product assistant to test your reamaze chat
