We're ready with yet another exciting product update. It's true, there is nothing better than great summer weather, some vacation time with family and friends, and obviously receiving the monthly Layerise product update. This month we are introducing two new Assistant components, adding support for one-time Reminders and releasing an improved Highlight experience.
As we are constantly on the path to make the most powerful Product Assistant, we see the need for additional Assistant components popping up all the time. Our goal is to convert your feedback and ideas to useful and powerful improvements. In return, this should make your daily work easier and at the same time empower you to achieve better results.
One of the two components introduced with this release is called Link. With this component, you can connect the Product Assistant to any of your existing destinations.
As with any component, you can easily drag the Link component to your Product Assistant. Hereafter, you are able to configure the destination, add an image and make other custom changes. To use this feature you have to be on the Enterprise plan.
The second component introduced this month is the highly requested Social Media component. Over and over again, we have been hearing how powerful it would be to promote your social media outlets.
As evident above, by using the Social Media component you can promote one or multiple social media destinations. The list of supported social platforms:
This feature is only available for accounts on the Layerise Enterprise plan.
Applying the Reminder is very effective when you want your customer base to get notified on certain milestones/occasions. Whether your goal is to get your customer base to do a certain product check, or you want them to be introduced to a certain product feature, the Reminder is a great option.
With this release, we are adding the option to send one-time reminders. As shown above, you can now configure one or multiple reminders to be sent to a customer with a specific day interval or be even more specific and select a date.
Improved Highlight experience
The Highlight format is extreamly popular and incredibly effective. Not only can you explain difficult product features, but you can also provide a complete list of how-to steps on for instance product assembly. We have seen a large array of ways Highlights can be used, and to provide an even better experience, we have over the last few month finalised several improvements.
As showcased above, Highlights for Product Assistant are now redesigned to be even more user friendly both on mobile and desktop. Also, we have improved the Highlight load time speed by 73% and have rebuilt the way Highlights are optimised for customers with different networks connections
All features covered in this release are rolling out during the first week of August and are made available in your account immediately. If not otherwise specified, all features will be available for all marketed plans.
