New and enhanced content components

Since our last update, where we released our largest product update covering the Next-gen Assistant, we have been collecting feedback and input from all of you. Even though we spend a tremendous amount of time and effort making sure we create great solutions, features and service value, it is important for us to make sure we listen to you and include your ideas and improvements. For this release, we are binging many iterative changes that we have collected through your amazing feedback.

Create Assistants with flexibility

Creating an Assistant needs to be easy and empowering. The toolset that we provide should at all-time help you achieve your goals whether that is better customer engagement, higher self-service, or even an increase in customer product registration. This also means that we constantly are seeking to understand your needs and goals, in which we find great value in creating solutions that allow you to achieve such goals fast and efficiently. This process of capturing your needs and converting them into scalable solutions has been the driving force for the following enhancements brought forward in this update.

Components with multiple column support

With this release, you are now able to express your content with even more flexibility. This has been one of the most requested enhancements. Instead of being limited to a predefined coloum size of individual components, you now have access to 1 and 2 column-sized components. This allows you now to drag components as Featured Highlights, Topics, and others to your Assistants which can both be 1 column (small) or 2 column (large).

New and enhanced components

We have also received a lot of different ideas and suggestions for new components as well as many ways the current components can be enhanced. Keep on sending your feedback as it is our goal to make new enhancements every month. For this update, we are focusing on adding new components that can help you achieve even greater flexibility.

Assistant shortcuts

Today we are releasing the Shortcut component. With this component, you can send your customer to any part of the Assistant. The full list of supported shortcuts:

This update also covers new components for all your .pdf files that you would like to share with your customers. In more detail, for each Assistant, you can upload an unlimited amount of files that your customers can download on their favorite device.

Certifications

Based on your feedback we are making enhancements to the Certification component. From this release, you are now able to connect a Topic to each certification you add. Connecting a Topic to a Certification is optional, but it's always a good idea to provide more information about your product certifications.

Featured video

Previously the Featured video file has only been compatible with video files uploaded from your hard-drive. Today, we are enhancing this component to also support videos added from Vimeo and Youtube.

All features covered in this release are rolling out starting on March 31st and are made available in your account this week. Moreover, all features will be available for all marketed plans.
